The Mayflower, The Grapes, The Anchor and The Lifeboat are all popular venues and serve locals and visitors alike. Typically landmarks of the towns in which they are located, The Mayflower and The Lifeboat are both bars and restaurants with large outside dining areas and in the case of The Mayflower, attractive ensuite bed and breakfast accomodation as well. The Grapes Public House in Southampton is one of the leading historic landmarks of the City, famous for its part in the Titanic story and in Cowes, The Anchor is not only a favourite pub, but a well regarded music venue as well.
